Azeka Steak / Rib Marinade
Author: Jennifer Powter
Engaging in the practice of meal planning is one of the best things you can do to reduce dinner time chaos. On Sunday I whipped up this marinade (which is the BEST) and I’ll be grilling steaks on the BBQ, slicing up yams to make oven baked yam fries and roasting some broccoli. Super easy + super yummy.
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup of oil
  • 1 tsp of sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup soya sauce (I typically reduce this to about ⅔ of a cup)
  • 1 cup of water (I often just use ⅔ of a cup)
  • 1 cup chopped green onion
  • ¼ cup of toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 -4 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
  1. Mix all of the above in a small bowl. Place ribs or steaks in a shallow dish and cover with marinade. Turn occasionally. Best if you can let them sit in this for 24-48 hrs. Yum!!
